Nornagesta | Candlestick Pair

The name Nornagesta comes from a Norse tale in which a candle measures the span of a life.

Each candlestick is hand-turned from Burmese teak that spent more than a century in the forest canopy. The wood rich in natural oils, dark mineral streaks and tiny pin-knots sometimes run through the grain; we leave them untouched to honour the tree’s own story.

Both sockets accept standard 22 mm tapers. A light wax finish lets the timber breathe; wipe with a dry cloth and allow the colour to mature on its own.

On a mantel, at supper, or as a house-warming gift, the Nornagesta pair offers a quiet reminder of long-term care and shared light.
