ALOTOF stands for “a lot of.”

A lot of material, a lot of weight, a lot of presence.

We create lighting objects made from solid brass, cast and finished by hand.

The forms are simple geometric volumes , designed to give each piece a calm but unmistakable presence in space.

Over time, the brass surface slowly develops a natural patina, becoming part of the life of the interior.

We believe beauty itself is a function — a subtle force that brings calm and balance to everyday spaces.

We believe objects should have weight.

Not only in material,
but in presence.

Brass is not a decorative surface.
It is a material with density, texture, and permanence.

At ALOTOF, we cast brass into simple forms —quiet geometries that sit naturally in space.

We are less interested in spectacle,
and more in objects that remain.

Our process privileges proportion, tactility, and long service life, materials selected for permanence, constructions designed to be maintained, and finishes that welcome patina, yielding a calm visual language that supports the room rather than competing with it.

ALOTOF’s philosophy introduces a sense of balance and purpose—inviting time and engaging the senses in everyday life. Thoughtful design is treated as a bridge between design and experience: a way to steady the tempo of a room and draw attention to light, texture, and use. The aim is presence without insistence—objects that support daily rituals, restore focus, and make space for calm.

Empathy and trust shape the work. ALOTOF listens—to clients, users, and makers—and folds diverse perspectives into a shared brief. Decisions are resolved through careful iteration and accountable making, with modest runs that keep attention on detail and the people who craft it. Adaptation is treated as respect: options exist so objects meet the realities of different rooms and lives.

Cast Brass

Each piece is cast in solid brass,
retaining the subtle marks of the casting process.

The surface is left untreated,
allowing it to slowly develop a natural patina over time.

Quietly present,
aging with the space it inhabits.

Four experiential currents inform the studio: travel, nature, spaces, and lived stories. When they converge, they cohere into an ambience—a character tied to place and time. ALOTOF translates that ambience into objects and spatial works with a quiet, enduring presence.

Empathy, trust, and respect for diverse points of view ground the practice. By listening to clients, users, and makers, a shared brief is built and tested at human scale. Curiosity, care, and steady dedication sustain a single pursuit: work that lasts.

Production follows a small-scale model. Lower volumes with specialist workshops keep processes traceable, tolerances tight, and finishing consistent from prototype to final inspection.

ALOTOF leads with handcraft: brass components are primarily sand-cast, then refined and fit-adjusted piece by piece; surfaces are tuned to light and touch—polished, brushed, or hand-aged.

ALOTOF places durability at the center of sustainability, favoring recyclable, maintainable materials and a reduced material palette to limit waste. Small-batch production with specialist workshops keeps volumes modest and processes traceable, while responsible sourcing and minimal packaging support a lighter footprint.
